Northern Arizona University Unbound
NAU is expanding and blooming everywhere you look. Take a sunny day and walk or ride the campus to see all the activity and stunning new architecture. Photographers bring a camera and you won’t be disappointed.
One of the completed projects is the new Science and Health Building which kind of bisects the south and north halves of the campus. The $57 million, 122,000-square-foot building is full of teaching and learning space along with faculty offices, group gathering spaces, lecture halls, research labs and instruction labs.
Arizona Surveying played a critical role on the building construction team. We provided calculations and construction surveying services including stakes for site grading, underground utility location and relocation, building grid lines and surrounding concrete and site work. The successful project was a welcome addition to the growing campus.
